To select your security certificate

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Security tab, under Certificate, do one of the following:
• Click Use privacy (encryption) only.
• Click Use this certificate for privacy and authentication, click Change, and then select a certificate.

Notes

• By default, the Use privacy (encryption) only option is selected. NetMeeting uses its own certificate for data encryption, and information about your identity cannot be verified.
• If you select the Use this certificate for privacy and authentication option, the certificate you select will encrypt data per its specifications and provide identity verification. Authentication certificates are issued by a Certificate Authority.
